Well done to my favorite photographer Mr Brown, who has been shortlisted in the Guardian photo competition again for this wonderful shot, please follow this link to see the other shots. I personally think that Mr Browns shot was the real winner, the only shot that met with the competition criteria, anyway keep it up fella & enjoy this slice of musical future.

Oh Mikey, I'm new to the joys of your blog. I now await, with baited breath, the next sherry-based installment...
ReplyDeleteBtw, I'll see your invitation for an old Brian-Ferry-Up and invite you round for goats cheese, Botrytis Riesling and some cruelty based snacking...

yes uncle michael
ReplyDeletehere i am joining in the fun of your blog at last. this is my first ever blog posting. maybe i'm not quite as "e" as i thought. i'm currently enjoying the complimentary wireless on a leeds to london train, facing the wrong way on the train, but at least travelling in the right direction.
anways, just to say nice blog mate, i'm enjoying the music / culture / food / booze combo. and of course i'm very grateful for the photo related love. as i don't know how any of this sh*t works i'm not sure how to add pics to your blog but i was intending to, either i'll work it out or i can email you a few new ones for you to post. just of boring old london i'm afraid, you can only work with what you've got
i've been in harrogate for the last few days which was pretty work based, although i did spend almost two hours at the turkish baths last night: http://www.harrogate.gov.uk/immediacy-1100 Disappointing absence of being hit with sticks by a fat man but otherwise really very nice, felt much better than just a sauna or steam room. anyone with two hours and £15 to spare in harrogate, who doesn't mind not getting hit with sticks by a fat man, should definitely check it out.
right, i'm spent. see you soon mate, hopefully in real life...
ps that beats in space weatherall / the count / the guv'nor / lord sabre mix is cool
oh and i almost forgot. many thanks for coming to the bday drinks, for my pressies, for looking after tally and andy after the event and for not stopping me from doing forward rolls in that bar, i like looking like an idiot and waking up with a bruised back...
